Nigeria, Sept. 11 -- The Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA) has announced traffic adjustments around Oko-Olowo Junction in Ilorin following the commencement of preparatory work for the construction of the Oko-Olowo Flyover.

The authority said an entrance and exit opening connecting the Oloje axis has been cordoned off as part of the initial activities, with temporary alternative routes provided to ease movement and minimise congestion.

According to the site engineer, the initial phase of the project will involve soil sampling, column-related investigations and other technical assessments ahead of full construction work.
