Nigeria, March 27 -- Team Kwara has wrapped up its Para Table Tennis campaign at the on going 3rd National Para Games in Abuja on a strong note, with Abibat Ibrahim delivering a standout gold medal performance on the final day of competition.
The day began on a challenging note for Kwara in the Women's Class 4-5 (Sitting) category, as Taiye Oyinloye and Hajarat Abdulmumeen fell short of progressing beyond the semi-finals. Both athletes lost to opponents from Rivers and Lagos States, respectively, but secured commendable bronze medals for their efforts.
