Nigeria, March 30 -- An award-winning photojournalist from Kwara State, Abdullahi Sanni, has lost valuables estimated at over five million naira following a fire outbreak.
The incident, according to Sanni, occurred around 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, while he was away from his residence in Ilorin.
Speaking with The Informant247, the Kwara-based creative explained that the fire was triggered by an electrical spark from a nearby room.
"The fire incident was caused by a reconnection of electricity in a nearby room to my apartment on Friday," he said.
