Nigeria, June 9 -- The National Association of Kwara State Law Students (NAKLAS), National Headquarters, has honoured the late AbdulGaniyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq, SAN, with a Posthumous Award of Excellence in recognition of his trailblazing contributions to the legal profession as the first lawyer from Northern Nigeria.
The recognition was bestowed during the NAKLAS National Conference 2026 (NNC '26) and Book Launch held in honour of the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, JCA (Rtd.), CFR.
Receiving the award on behalf of the AbdulRazaq family was Alhaji Abdulrahman Giwa, alongside Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi, Dr. Muhammad Gali, Alhaji Sa'adudeen Salahudeen, and other notable dignitaries.
