Nigeria, May 9 -- The Kwara State Government has officially taken delivery of the renovated Amoyo Rehabilitation Centre following the completion of rehabilitation works at the facility damaged by fire last year.
The inspection and handover ceremony was held on Friday at the centre, with officials from the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development in attendance.
Speaking during the exercise, the Commissioner for Social Development, Hajia Mariam Nnafatima Imam, commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the renovation project, describing the intervention as a demonstration of the administration's commitment to the welfare and protection of vulnerable residents in the state.
