Nigeria, April 27 -- Kwara Central Senatorial District has maintained a commanding lead in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Kwara State, according to figures in a document sighted by The Informant247.
The data, covering the first and second phases of the exercise, show that Kwara Central recorded a combined total of 72,821 registrants between August and April, accounting for 38.54 percent of the state's total.
The district's lead places it well ahead of Kwara South, which recorded 49,861 registrations (26.39 percent), and Kwara North, which posted 48,545 (25.63 percent). An additional 17,714 registrations - 9.37 percent of the total - were completed at the state office.
