Nigeria, May 17 -- Barr. Hussein Afolabi, an aspirant for the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress in the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, has kicked against what he described as the unofficial announcement and circulation of results from the party's primary election held on May 16, 2026.

In a press statement on Saturday, Afolabi expressed appreciation to party members and supporters across the constituency for what he called their "overwhelming support, encouragement and confidence" during the exercise.

He, however, urged his supporters and other stakeholders to remain calm and law-abiding as the party concludes its internal processes.
