Nigeria, Sept. 26 -- Dr. Baba Kolo Jiya, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2027 Kwara North Senatorial candidate, has taken responsibility for the medical treatment of Baba Tsaku, a recently released kidnapping victim who spent more than 100 days in bandits' captivity.

Kolo Jiya had earlier directed that Baba Tsaku's medical bills and necessary treatment be fully covered following his release and subsequent admission to a hospital in Ilorin.

The senatorial candidate later visited Baba Tsaku at the hospital to check on his condition and offer support as he continues his recovery from the ordeal.
