Nigeria, June 9 -- The Kano State Police Command has arrested 345 suspects and recovered 270 dangerous weapons during a three-day statewide security operation targeting thuggery, drug trafficking, and other violent crimes across the state.

The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, disclosed this on Monday during a press briefing at the Bompai Police Headquarters in Kano.

He warned criminal elements that Kano would no longer serve as a safe haven for illegal activities, stressing that the Command would sustain intelligence-led raids, targeted operations, and prosecutions to keep crime under control.
