Nigeria, Oct. 1 -- The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) has called on federal, state and local governments to disclose how revenues and savings from fuel subsidy reforms are being spent, urging greater accountability and policies that protect Nigerians from economic hardship.

The organisation made the call in a statement marking Nigeria's 66th Independence Day, signed by its Communications Director, Sanni Alausa-Issa.

BBYDI said Nigerians deserved accessible and verifiable information on how public resources were allocated and the results of government spending in their communities.
