Nigeria, May 3 -- Community leader and architect, Ilias Sanni, has purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest to represent Ilorin East constituency at the state assembly in the forthcoming 2027 election.

Sanni made this known shortly after obtaining the forms, formally announcing his intention to run under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

Addressing party leaders, elders, stakeholders and residents of the constituency, he said, "I stand before you today in full cognizance of the responsibilities that come with political ambition."
