Nigeria, July 27 -- In a viral video circulating on social media, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi, has claimed to have called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to change the senator representing Kwara South, Senator Lola Ashiru, as the preferred candidate for the Kwara 2027 governorship election.

"They gave Lola governor, it was yesterday I changed it," he claimed.

The video, which purportedly shows the king with what appears to be his chieftains in his palace, cited the failure of the senator to deliver significant achievements during his two terms as the senator representing the senatorial district.
