Nigeria, May 17 -- Ajani Abiola Joshua has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress primary election held on Saturday ahead of the 2027 general elections for the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat.

Copies of results obtained across the three local government areas that make up the constituency showed that Ajani polled a total of 20,394 votes.

Ajani, a former bursar of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, contested alongside Mohammed Baba Ibrahim, bursar of Kwara State Polytechnic and Abubakar Taoheed Bello, a former TESCOM chairman in the exercise conducted by the party nationwide for House of Representatives positions.
