Fire guts storey building in Ilorin
Nigeria, May 17 -- A fire outbreak on Sunday morning gutted part of a storey building in Omoda, Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, with firefighters successfully preventing the blaze from spreading beyond a single room.
This was contained in a statement was signed by PFO Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, PRO and Head of Media Unit, for the Director of the Kwara State Fire Service.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. at No. 6 Kutashi Compound, Omoda, involving a building comprising about eight bedroom flats. Only one room was affected before the fire was contained.
