Nigeria, May 15 -- Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, Chairman of Kursi Investment Limited and a leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, on Thursday suspended a planned trip to Ilorin owing to an impromptu international business engagement, sources familiar with the development have said.

Seriki was expected in Ilorin for a meeting involving APC stakeholders and governorship aspirants as consultations within the ruling party continue ahead of the 2027 political season.

Sources disclosed that the businessman had initially planned to arrive earlier in the day but was delayed by an impromptu international engagement, which altered his movement schedule.
