Customs intercepts N604m Tramadol, rice, fuel, luxury cars in Kwara
Nigeria, Sept. 11 -- The Nigeria Customs Service, Kwara Area Command, has seized smuggled goods with a combined value of N604.3 million in the state, including Tramadol, foreign rice, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), foreign spaghetti, used clothing and two luxury vehicles.
The Acting Area Controller of the command, Deputy Comptroller Najeem Akanmu Ogundeyi, disclosed this during a press briefing in Ilorin on Thursday.
Ogundeyi said the items were intercepted along different operational routes in the state through intelligence-led operations, routine patrols and collaboration with other security agencies.
