Bandits strike Patigi again less than 24 hours after previous attack
Nigeria, Aug. 31 -- Less than 24 hours after the latest attack, bandits have struck again in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, heightening concerns over the safety of residents despite repeated appeals for increased security presence in the area.
NupekoTV reports that the latest incident occurred at about 9pm when a commercial motorcyclist travelling from Lata Nna with a passenger was reportedly intercepted by the attackers.
The motorcycle rider reportedly escaped, while the unidentified passenger, who was said not to be a resident of the community, was abducted.
