Nigeria, Sept. 27 -- Former Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, and former House of Representatives member, Abubakar Amuda-Kannike, have been appointed to key positions in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election.

Ahmed was appointed Senior Campaign Adviser, while Amuda-Kannike was named Head of General Services under the Administration Directorate of the campaign council.

The appointments place the two prominent Kwara politicians within the national campaign structure backing the presidential bid of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
