Nigeria, May 25 -- The Akogun Abdulrasheed Campaign Organization has dismissed allegations made by Hon. Aliyu Rasaq Opeyemi Apaguntan, popularly known as RAAF, over claims surrounding the All Progressives Congress House of Assembly primary election for the Share/Oke-Ode Constituency.

In a statement issued by the campaign's media team, the organization described Apaguntan's claims as "false and misleading," insisting that Akogun Abdulrasheed never declared himself winner of the primary election.

The campaign said only the leadership of the APC has the authority to officially announce the outcome of the exercise, adding that neither Abdulrasheed nor members of his team had made any public declaration regarding the results.
