Nigeria, March 1 -- The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled a free nationwide online membership registration portal as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections, directing both new and existing members to register and revalidate their details digitally.

In a statement issued on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said the new digital platform was introduced to comply with provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 and guidelines set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The ADC explained that only members whose details are fully captured and verified on the party's official digital register will be eligible to vote or contest in its primaries.
