Nigeria, Aug. 17 -- Nigerian music star Davido has criticised Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over his call for Osun residents to elect a governor with access to President Bola Tinubu and Aso Rock.

Davido, who has been actively campaigning for his brother, who is the Accord Party candidate in the Osun governorship election, reacted to the governor's remarks in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday.

AbdulRazaq had made the comment on Thursday during an All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally in Osogbo.

The Kwara governor had argued that Osun needed a governor who could access the Presidency and attract benefits to the state.
