Nigeria, April 17 -- The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of engaging in "dirty politics" over an alleged move to reopen the Offa robbery case to blackmail former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

The party made the allegation on Friday during a press conference in Ilorin, describing the move as "desperate" and politically motivated.

Speaking through its State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the PDP said the attempt to revisit the case was aimed at tarnishing Saraki's image and misleading the public.
