Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- What happens when the timeless flavours of Japan meet the vibrant influences of Asia? This September, Lyfe Hotels brings the answer to the table as Sweet Basil hosts a three-day Japanese Food Festival from 18-20 September, 2026. The limited-time experience brings together time-honoured Japanese techniques, contemporary Asian influences and an exciting chef collaboration.

Leading the festival is Chef Tetsuya Hattori, Master Chef at SO SUSHI, who brings over 37 years of culinary expertise to the kitchen. Chef Hattori will take over Sweet Basil, to present a specially curated Japanese menu featuring an enticing selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
