Bangladesh, Oct. 27 -- Yasha Sobhan, chairperson of Bashundhara Special Children Foundation, has received the Cluster of Achievers Award 2026 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to children with autism and other special needs. She has also received an honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Social Works (Honoris Causa) from Maryland State University in the United States, according to a press release.

The honours recognise her commitment to social welfare, the development of children with special needs, and the promotion of an inclusive society.
