Bangladesh, Sept. 15 -- As trade in services has become the most dynamic component of global trade, the biggest annual outreach event of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) places services at the centre of the conversation.

Advertisement Officially termed the WTO Public Forum 2026, the three-day event is expected to examine the role of services as an engine of development, source of income, and driver of job creation and empowerment worldwide, particularly for women and young people.

The forum starts today (Tuesday) at the organisation's secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, with the theme "Powering the Future".
