Bangladesh, Sept. 15 -- The biggest annual outreach event of the World Trade Organization (WTO) kicked off in Geneva on Tuesday with an enthusiasm to explore the fast growing diversification of the trade in services.

Advertisement Officially termed as WTO Public Forum 2026, the first day of the three-day event was packed with a series of discussion and debate session through the day at the WTO secretariat.

The theme of this year public forum is 'Powering the Future' as the three-day event is excepted to examine the role of services as an engine of development, source of income, and driver of job creation and empowerment worldwide, particularly for women and young people.
