Dhaka, March 7 -- Home Minister and BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed today (Saturday) expressed confidence that the upcoming parliamentary sessions will restore public trust in the legislature, stating that citizens "wanted to see such a parliament."
Speaking to reporters at the concluding day of a two-day training workshop for newly elected parliamentarians at the BNP Chairman's Office in Gulshan, the Home Minister emphasized the government's commitment to transforming parliamentary culture, BSS reports.
"We will remove from the minds of the people the negative impressions about the parliament that were created in the past," he said.
