Dhaka, June 12 -- United Medical College Hospital organised a public awareness campaign on Thursday (June 11) to mark Global Fatty Liver Day, using art as a medium to promote awareness about liver health, says a media release.

The programme was held at the hospital's premises and featured six artists from different parts of the country.

Fatty liver disease is among the most common health conditions worldwide, but awareness about its causes, complications and prevention remains limited in Bangladesh, the release added.
