Dhaka, May 12 -- Trust Bank PLC and Water.org formally launched their strategic WaterCredit collaboration through a ceremony held on May 10, 2026, at Utshab Hall of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka.

According to a press release, the event was organised by the SME Division of Trust Bank PLC.

Under this partnership, Trust Bank PLC will mobilize a dedicated WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) financing portfolio amounting to BDT 350 crore over the next three years. The initiative aims to expand access to finance for MSMEs and microfinance institutions operating in the water and sanitation sector across Bangladesh, contributing to improved public health, sanitation facilities, and sustainable development.
