Dhaka, March 9 -- Three people have been killed and two others injured after a head-on crash between a CNG autorickshaw and a three-wheeler in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi.

The incident occurred in front of the house of Hazrat Ali in Chandipur around 7:00 am on Monday.

Bagha Police Station chief (OC) Serajul Haque said CNG driver Shariful Islam, who hailed from Lalpur's Naopara village, was taking four passengers to Bagha when his vehicle crashed head-on into a three-wheeler, locally known as a Bhotbhoti, travelling in the opposite direction, reports UNB.

Shariful was killed on the spot alongside his passengers Bidhan Das and Rokena Begum, who both hail from villages in the Upazila, he added.
