Tarique-Anwar vow to elevate Bangladesh-Malaysia ties to new heights
Dhaka, June 22 -- Bangladesh and Malaysia on Monday pledged to elevate their bilateral relationship to a new level, expanding cooperation across trade, investment, labour migration, technology, defence and regional diplomacy, as Prime Minister Tarique Rahman concluded his first foreign visit since taking office.
During the bilateral meeting in Putrajaya, Tarique Rahman and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim agreed to deepen a partnership they described as being rooted in shared values, mutual respect and decades of people-to-people ties.
