Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed ways to expand cooperation between Bangladesh and Turkiye in the areas of economy, trade and investment during a meeting in New York on Tuesday.

Advertisement The high-level meeting was held at the Turkish House at 821 United Nations Plaza, according to a UNB report.

The two leaders exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest and discussed the scope for further expanding existing cooperation in the economic, trade and investment sectors.

They also discussed important regional and international issues and stressed the need for continued close cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
