Dhaka, June 9 -- Standard Islami Bank PLC provided financial assistance to six patients for the treatment of critical diseases under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

Acting Managing Director of the bank Md. Siddiqur Rahman handed over the donation cheques to the relatives or nominated representatives of the patients at the bank's head office on 08 June 2026.

Financial assistance was provided to Md. Yasin of Barguna, Md. Abu Taleb Dhali of Jashore & Md. Azgar Ali of Tangail, who are suffering from cancer; Md. Abdullah Shoaib Nur of Gaibandha & Arif Aftab of Habiganj, who are suffering from kidney disease and Md. Zakaria Hossain of Kishoreganj for spinal cord surgery.
