Bangladesh, Nov. 4 -- Sonali Life Insurance PLC's gross premium income increased 7 per cent in the first nine months of 2026, while its claim settlement rose nearly 29 per cent, reflecting a significant increase in payments to policyholders.

The insurer's gross premium income rose to Tk 6.46 billion in January-September from Tk 6.02 billion a year earlier, according to the company's comparative financial performance data. Claim settlements, meanwhile, surged to Tk 3.42 billion from Tk 2.66 billion over the same period.
