Six general insurers post stronger Q2 earnings
Bangladesh, July 27 -- Six listed general insurance companies posted improved financial performance in the second quarter (April-June) of 2026, reporting higher earnings, stronger operating cash flows and improved net asset values (NAV), while two others saw lower EPS, reflecting an uneven recovery in the sector.

Eight listed non-life insurers -- Pioneer Insurance, Union Insurance, Rupali Insurance, Takaful Islami Insurance, Prime Islami Insurance, Sonar Bangla Insurance, Central Insurance and Global Insurance -- disclosed their April-June financial results on Sunday.
