Bangladesh, Oct. 28 -- Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organised a workshop on "Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) Awareness Program for the Board of Directors" at the Corporate Head Office of the Bank on 28 October 2026 under the initiative of Bangladesh Bank.

The purpose of the workshop is to enhance the awareness and understanding of the members of the bank's Board of Directors regarding risk-based supervision, according to a press release.

Mohammad Abdur Rab, Director of the Supervisory Policy and Coordination Department (SPCD) at Bangladesh Bank and Ms Shirajum Munira, Additional Director of the same department, participated as speakers and delivered speeches on risk-based supervision.
