Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- Shafiul Alam Ujjal has been elected President and Yadul Haque as General Secretary of the Bangladesh Elevator Escalators and Lift Importers Association (BELIA), the organisation of lift importers in Bangladesh.

The new executive committee for the 2026-2028 term was officially announced on Saturday at a restaurant in the BTMC Building at Karwan Bazar.

After the announcement, the newly formed committee was introduced, members exchanged views, and an iftar gathering was held.

At the event, it was informed that the election process was completed peacefully and smoothly according to the schedule declared by the election board.
