Bangladesh, Sept. 4 -- The Bangladesh Embassy in Moscow says that the number of Bangladeshi nationals killed in a fire at the Amur Gas Chemical Complex (AGCC) in the Amur Oblast region of Russia's Far East has risen to four.

Advertisement The fourth victim, Mahin Uddin from Narsingdi, died on Friday local time, said the embassy's First Secretary (Labour) Mizanur Rahman.

Mizanur said that he had gone to a Moscow hospital on Wednesday to see Mahin, who was undergoing treatment, reports bdnews24.com.

"He died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment. He was still talking the day before yesterday. He spoke to his family on a video call."

A major fire broke out at the AGCC near the town of Svobodny on Aug 25.
