Bangladesh, July 28 -- Robi Axiata PLC posted a robust 29 per cent year-on-year growth in profit in the first half (H1) of 2026, driven by strong revenue growth, higher data consumption and an expanding subscriber base despite a challenging business environment.

Advertisement The country's second-largest mobile operator reported a profit after tax of Tk 4.95 billion for the January-June period, up 29.2 per cent from Tk 3.83 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk 0.95 for the first six months of 2026 from Tk 0.73 in the same period last year, according to the company's unaudited financial statements released on Tuesday.
