Dhaka, March 15 -- Factories of readymade garment (RMG) sector have announced up to 10 days of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, with most units scheduled to remain closed from March 18 to March 27.

In a notice issued to its members, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) said its management offices in Dhaka and Chottogram would remain closed from March 19 to March 25. However, the offices will reopen on March 28 after the public holiday for Independence Day on March 26 and the weekend on March 27.
