Dhaka, May 24 -- Rainfall may disrupt Eid-ul-Azha celebrations as Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted wet weather across the country till May 28, the Eid day.

The Met Office on Saturday forecast rain in different parts of the country from May 25 to May 28 continue beyond that period, UNB reports.

"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning flashes are likely at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions, and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions," said a regular BMD bulletin.
