Dhaka, April 30 -- ONE Bank PLC has announced the appointment of Iftekhar Ahmed Zafar as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), according to a press release.

In his new role, he will lead the bank's Transaction Banking and Investment Banking divisions, while also serving as Chief Strategy Officer for the bank.

Iftekhar brings over 23 years of extensive banking experience across Corporate & Institutional Banking, Financial Markets, Transaction Banking, and Finance. Prior to joining ONE Bank PLC, he held several senior leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank in both Bangladesh and the UAE for over two decades.
