Dhaka, April 28 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast Nor'wester storms with lightning in all eight divisions of the country.

At the same time, there may be very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country for the next four days.

As a result, there is a risk of landslides in the Chattagram Division, reports bdnews24.com.

On Tuesday, the Met Office issued two separate special warnings on Nor'wester storms and heavy rainfall.

The Kalboishakhi Warning Message said a Nor'wester storm accompanied by temporary west-northwesternly squalls of speeds 60-80kph is likely at places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 48 hours from 11 am on Tuesday.
