Dhaka, June 8 -- Nobel laureate Dr Anne L'Huillier, Professor of Atomic Physics at Lund University, Sweden, delivered a lecture on attosecond physics at a webinar organised by the Faculty of Engineering of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

The lecture, titled "The World of Atoms at the Attosecond Time Scale", was held on June 3 as part of the Dr Anwarul Abedin Lecture Series, according to a press release.

During the session, Dr L'Huillier introduced the emerging field of attosecond physics and explained how ultrafast light pulses can be used to observe and study electron motion within atoms and molecules.

More than 200 faculty members, researchers, students and science enthusiasts participated in the webinar.
