Dhaka, May 12 -- Nearly 26 million people in the country have availed various services and support initiatives from BRAC in 2025, which is equivalent to one in every seven people in Bangladesh.

Supports were provided in areas including healthcare, education, financial services inclusion, disaster and crisis response, safe water and sanitation (WASH), climate change adaptation, migration, and skills development.

BRAC executive director Asif Saleh shared the information with journalists at a view- exchange meeting to mark the launch of BRAC's annual report 2025.

Others present at the programme included BRAC senior director K A M Morshed, director A F M Shahidur Rahman, along with other high officials and senior journalists.
