Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is set to introduce Korshathi (tax companion), a digital chatbot service expected to bring a major transformation in the country's tax culture by making tax-related information and services easier to access.

Advertisement The chatbot will be introduced under the project titled 'Strengthening Domestic Revenue Mobilisation', funded by the World Bank.

Project Director Md Masudur Rahman said Korshathi is envisioned as the digital friend of taxpayers, helping people understand their tax obligations, access NBR services, and navigate the automated tax administration system more easily.

"It is one of the key tools that will help achieve this transformation," he said.
