Dhaka, June 2 -- A Bangladeshi expatriate has been found dead inside a locked vehicle in Sohar city of Oman, four days after he went missing.

Royal Oman Police recovered the body of Mizan Mohammad, 30, from the car parked near the Lulu Hypermarket on Monday morning.

Mizan, originally from Bijoynagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria, had been missing since Friday afternoon when he left home to purchase business supplies, according to his friend Mohammad Robiul.

His mobile phone was reportedly switched off afterwards and he never returned home, bdnews24.com reports.

Mizan owned an ice cream parlour and several other businesses in the city. He was known among Bangladeshi expatriates for creating content on TikTok.
