Bangladesh, Sept. 1 -- The country's merchandise exports in August 2026 bounced back with 13.14 per cent growth to fetch US$4.42 billion, according to Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) data released Tuesday.

Last July, merchandise shipments recorded a meagre 0.9 per cent negative growth

Out of the total US$4.42 billion, RMG fetched US$3.60 billion, marking 13.92 per cent growth, according to EPB data.

Within the RMG segment, knitwear exports grew by 14.88 per cent to US$2.03 billion, while woven garments rose by 12.70 per cent to US$1.57 billion.
