Dhaka, June 4 -- Mercantile Bank PLC inaugurated four new sub-branches on Thursday with the aim of providing modern and convenient banking services to customers, according to a press release.

The new sub-branches are Miarhat Sub-Branch in Swarupkathi, Pirojpur, Shibchar Sub-Branch in Madaripur, Merajnagar Sub-Branch in Kadamtali, Dhaka and Bhola Banglabazar Sub-Branch in Bhola. Mati Ul Hasan, Managing Director of the bank inaugurated the sub-branches as the Chief Guest. Bank's Deputy Managing Director Shamim Ahmed delivered his welcome speech and Deputy Managing Director Ashim Kumar Saha delivered give of thanks on the occasion.
