Bangladesh, Sept. 10 -- Meghna Bank PLC has recently signed an agreement to participate in Bangladesh Bank's Tk 30 billion (Tk 3,000 crore) refinancing scheme aimed at increasing agricultural production and supporting the preservation, transportation, marketing and processing of agricultural products, according to a press release Thursday.

Advertisement The scheme also focuses on developing agri-based cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs) and expanding exports of agricultural products to help create agri-based economic hubs in the country's northern region.
